I would give the game away if I was ever beaten 8 & 7 by a bunter.

    Coffshacker V Zipptopp (1/4 final)

Coffs and I are trying to sort out a date sometime in August, may well be played a venue midway between Sydney and Coffs Harbour.

Alright TS... should we get a date/venue in pencil for this monumental semi-final

My wrist is healed and I've played 3 rounds since the cast came off so it's all systems go from my perspective.

You have a little longer to get the game played. I think we were planning on games being played by the end of this month for quarter finals. Having the game would be better than a walkover. Don't think anyone would mind.

Hey, I'd prefer a walkover and I hear Jim's not playing that well lately so maybe we should play that game real soon too!
It's about the only way I'll get thru if everyone else falls over. (hasn't that been done before?)

I think both Coffs and I are a bit short on time this month, we will try to sort something out if we can.

Scores in from TS and I... after a fantastic front 9 where TS and I both had 8 stableford points and he was 1 up, I got my swing in order and managed to grab a 3&1 victory...

See jimandr or zipptopp in the final, anyplace, anytime

This was a really interesting match, where in hindsight, TS needed to capitalise on Mike's ordinary play on the front 9. At stages on the front their combined play was terrible, especially the woeful T-shots on the 175m par 3 4th(?), which were both way right. Once Mike got on his back 9 streak though, there wasn't much stopping him.

    Well played, mike.

    It is Finals time!!
I received a message from Jim that his semi Final was a walkover, due to Zipptopp being unable to make his match due to a number of reasons.
So the final is now set.

    Jimandr

    MikeZone13

Who will be the 2007 Champ?
Can Jim make it 3 years in a row? or will the new kid win it in his first year?

Guys it would nice if we could get this played on a day where we have a good turnout to see this match played. Last years final was held at Richmond Golf Club. Don't know how nowadays with all the golf being played at various courses we can get a truly independent course that someone has not played before but that would be a good idea.
Only proviso is that the game be played before the end of the OzGolf year (before the champs 17-18 Nov).

Happy to play just about anywhere... I agree getting a good crowd along could be fun.

I wonder if jim's lack of play in this year tournament (2 walkovers) will leave him fresh or underdone?

I'm always in need of another run in order to reach my peak.

I would've prefered to play a Match with Zipptopp, but it wasn't to be.

I'll send Mike a PM outlining my available dates, and we'll start negotiating.
