Default US Tariffs Affecting New Golf Clubs In AUS?

I assume DTC (e.g. Takomo) and Asian (Epon, Mizuno, Srixon, Cleveland?) brands are unaffected locally.

But manufacturers like Ping, TM, Callaway, Titleist, PXG? currently claim to assemble in USA (often with foreign made components) ... Will those components be hit with Trump's 40-125% tariff, which will then be passed onto the Australian importer of the assembled clubs?

Anyone know the Japanese for 'standard lofts', 'low kick point' and 'approach wedge'?
You don't get me. I'm part of the Union.

Stage 2 of my Hogan build just became more expensive now after having to use the funds on something else (not golf related) 2 months ago.
Dollar is being affected on top of any possible tariffs as well. I loath to look how much more the heads are going to cost me now.

The impact of tariffs is systemic. Like, firms typically adjust their prices globally to respond to tariffs... i.e., it won't just be US consumers paying more.

Also, a 125% tariff on Chinese goods entering the USA will weigh heavily on the $AUD.

I'm thinking the price of golf gear in Australia will rise a fair bit, unfortunately

Just buy Direct out of Japan.

Heaps of shops available for shipping and i expect a few more popping up.

You can even buy out of UK and Europe.

    America is basically headless.

Won't most of it come direct from China where it is made? Except maybe Ping and 1 or 2 others that assembly in the USA.
