    Default Golf in Vietnam

Heading to Vietnam this week and been given a day off to play golf. Has anyone played there recently and can give me some tips on where to play, who to book through, hire of clubs etc.?

We will be staying in Danang at the time so looking for a course in that area of which there appears to be a number of.

Danang has a number of options, but expect it to cost $500 AUD by the time you hire clubs, shoes, caddy fees etc.

Hoiana Shores is the pick, but BRG Danang, BaNa Hills and Montgomery Links are all worth a hit

Thanks. We have booked to play BaNa Hills. Golf’s certainly not cheap in Asia.

You might need to budget for a dozen balls at BaNa too - can be tough if you go off line

Played Ba Na Hills Golf Club today. WOW. What a beautiful course to play. It was my 15 year olds first time playing in Asia and having a caddy and he loved it. We managed to only lose three balls between us.

We booked golf, hire clubs and transport through Vietnam Dragon Golf who I would highly recommend. They spent over an hour with me on WhatsApp to ensure all my queries were answered and arranged the day we were looking for. The price was VND8,800,000 which converted to AUD550 for the two of us.

I received a quote from another golf booking company that came in at USD510 or AUD800 for the same golf, hire clubs and transport.

The course was in immaculate condition with the greens fast and undulating and all pins cut within 6-8 feet of green edges.

I haven’t played any other courses in Vietnam to compare with but would highly recommend Ba Na Hills.
