I played Pittsworth maybe 15 years ago, probably longer actually. Never played Crows Nest or Goombungee but some non golfing mates have played Goom a bit. I've been meaing to go have a game there with them.

The onsite accommodation is definitely pricey, so I was considering something basic for me to lie down in after a few brews in the CBD, and not have to travel far for the 7am parkrun.

I thought that Volcanic place was a home brewing supplies place? It's right next door to GolfWorld, in the same commercial complex. Not a place I thought an open craft beer bar would be.

Yeah, there are quite a few options. Leichardt across the road has a slightly higher rating. If you are staying, then we can sort it out.
