We should have gotten the contact details of the random 4th member of our dream team last year.

Yeah it was all the rage back in the day 🙄

Seriously though, if PeteyD can't make it i will try and get the day off work.

It's been a long time since I've played @ City to pay respects to Leon.

Since goughy didn't organise anything, the foundation contacted me to tell me that spots were running out and offered the reservation of groups, which was nice of them. I don't want to hold the spots too long, if we aren't going to fill them, which means I need payments into the OZgolf account, that is bank account or Paypal gift, then I'll pay for the groups. The cost is $103 per person, which includes golf, cart, roast roll, a drink ticket, and a little bit of sponsor's merch.

If payments come in quickly and it looks like we might get three groups, I'll contact them and ask to reserve another.

I'm thinking about staying up in the area for a night, doing a parkrun on the Sat morning and maybe another hit of golf on Sat afternoon.

Thanks Andy, can you PM me the banking details so I can transfer.

I have to back in Bris by lunchtime on the Sat but overnight up there to avoid the drive back late Friday has some appeal. I remember looking at it last year and accom was a bit pricey.

Sorry, but in all fairness, this was our earlier conversation!

Once they've gotten back to you, if we need to pay you I'll get Rob to do a transfer.

If you happen to not play a comp round somewhere the Sat arvo, I may be able to join you. Have you played Borneo Barracks?

I'll be going up and back on the day damo, if you want to grab a lift with me? I'm just off the motorway at Goodna.

Individual booking is now available, just use the access code of Ozgolf when booking, and choose the Ozgolf ticket. Then update this thread when you have paid. This will save me chasing up the pencils. Hopefully all of the names down so far and more can join us.

The onsite accommodation is definitely pricey, so I was considering something basic for me to lie down in after a few brews in the CBD, and not have to travel far for the 7am parkrun.
Like this one: Motel Glenworth, Toowoomba (updated prices 2025)

I've played at Borneo. Pittsworth, Goomungee, or Crows Nest worth a bit of a drive? Since they are all nine holers, more than one could be played.
