Default What percentage do Golf Australia take from comp fees?

    I’m guessing it’s $1-$2 ?

They take a cut when you pay a membership.
Why should they be dipping into comp fees as well?

Not sure in other states but here, a club provides their membership no:s to Golf Australia and pays a 'fee' per member. It was somewhere around $65.00 when I was a club secretary a few years ago. No such thing as a cut from comp fees afaik..

Of a say $10 comp fee, GST is 10% and the rest goes back to the vendor

Yeah that was my thoughts. I’ll ask the ceo at my club when I see him next.

Comp fees to run the handicap system. I’d 100% expect them to take something.

    You’d be incorrect.

That’s what part of the cut they take from membership is for.

Thats what affiliation fees from your membership are for. They don't take anything from comp fees.
