How’s it going, chaps? Been reading through the forum for a while now and thought it’s about time I joined in. Seems like a top site you’ve got here. I’ve been playing solid for about two years now, currently sitting at a 20 handicap, but aiming to get to those elusive single figures one day.
I’m a member of the city course here in Toowoomba—anyone else around this neck of the woods? I’ll admit, I’m probably a bit of a “Ho” as you guys call it, can’t resist looking at, buying, and trying out new golf clubs. It’s almost as addictive as the game itself! Haha.
Anyway, looking forward to getting involved and thanks for having me!

Hey Alyx, welcome aboard.

There's a bunch of SEQld'ers here, but I don't know that any of them are in Toowoomba. I know some of them do head out that way every now and then for a game, but I wouldn't imagine it's all that frequent.

Welcome, AJ. We have a regular posting member that lives in Toowoomba, but he doesn't play golf (goughy), and another that has just returned (moreegolfer - Return to the Ozgolf fold).

As Lefty said, a bunch of us take a trip up there from Brisbane once a year. This is for an ambrose charity day at City Golf Club, in honour of one of the forum's founders.

Excuse me, but I beg to differ! I just played my second game for the year today, at City!

Hey Alyx, on and off City GC member here! Mostly off these days, sadly! But I'd certainly be up for a social hit once in a while. god knows when I'll have the time to join up again!

Now days it's usually the Leon Day that brings them up! Maybe 2 or 3 groups, 4 if we're lucky.

I'm also in Brisbane but I do get up that way for a game occasionally. Might make a couple of trips on my extended leave I'm on ATM and play middle ridge again and City for the first time.
