2025 VIC Champs XI - February 20th - 24th

It's that time of year again!!!! The VIC Champs 2025 edition has been born.

We return to our normal date formatting, Thursday February 20th - Monday 24th.

Thursday - Warm-Up Round: Flinders Golf Club. Details to be confirmed but a 2PM tee time has been requested.

Friday (New Match Play Format to be Advised): Yarra Yarra Golf Club. Tee off will be from 10:30 AM, and field limited to 24 players. Due to the field being limited I will only allow players at this stage who are also playing Saturday / Sunday, no one-day wonders for now.

Saturday - Champs Rd 1: Eagle Ridge Golf Club. Details to be confirmed but an afternoon tee-time has been requested.

Sunday - Champs Rd 2: Rosebud Country Club, North Course. 2-tee start from 7:40AM. This will, of course, be seeded, so the better you play Saturday the more time you have to recover Sunday morning.

Monday - Warm-Down Round: Rosebud Country Club, South Course. 1-tee start from 7:36AM.

Accommodation: Fairways Resort, where we have 6 triple share (1 King, 2 x King Single) and 4 Twin Share (2 x King Single) for Thursday to Saturday nights, and one less triple share room Sunday night.

I will be closing off entries to this one by Australia Day, (if not sooner!!!) as the accommodation requires 4-5 weeks notice, otherwise I lose a metric shit-tonne of money from deposits...

Final details on a few places are yet to be completely confirmed, but for someone doing the full rota the expected cost will be around the $1250 mark which includes prize money and birdie comp entry.

The other thing is I'm NOT taking two sets of clubs with me, that would be insane.
