Default UPRIGHT long handle putting changes

All il say , is dont knock it til uve tried it..........

I dont think im the only guy to have seen the way DEshashbeau putts and gone ok, there might be some method in that straight arm style and while hes def not the best putter the planet, hes not crap.

so, as ive struggled with the slice putt for EVER, id had enough.

i had a playing lesson with a JPN tour aussie pro a cpl of months back , he said , mate ur head/eye line is all fkd up, ur looking at the line all slanted he
showed me what i was doing then suggested a diff style and i cudnt get it,

    old dog/no tricks

    so ,fk it

got one of my putters, stuck a light HUGE plastic tube like a pool spagetti tube material on the grip up to the elbow joint , thickend the base to for the hands to sit rather than flick the wrist and off i went, ive built 4 so far , and hours of range time with the prototypes , and several matches in, ill say pretty much that slice has GONE

my putting stats have increased significantly the last 3 monts esp from inside 4 feet where i was possibly the WORST putter to ever pick up a flatty.

no special slanted putter heads , i can not tell if any of mine are better/worse than the next they all seem to work .

i do struggle with long putts a bit more , so i go back to normal stoke when its over 25ft to lag it up , but ill take that over missing 4 footers all game!!!!!!!!!!

the look at address is totally different to standing over it conventionally but ill swear blind from whre a hideous cut slice miss right all the time was "common" the stroke is back square to maybe the slightest hook arc.

more than anything else , palcebo or not, it dont matter , i dont FEEL like im going to fk it up cut/ slicing when i step up anymore and the amount of short putts ive made have significaltly improed

not for everyone of course .

    I think i just vomited a little.

Slice putt cure is the claw grip, always has been .. if you pull or slice putts.. Claw grip will fix it as it brings your right elbow back closer to your rib cage and your upper torso can control the pace better. get one of those cheap plastic mirror things off eBay for 20 bucks. square shoulders up, eyes inside the line and boom.. you have a decent putting stroke.

Also excellent back to basics guide.

if you want to go full Bryson.. you will need an Armlock putter with proper loft. Also .. you need 10 degrees on the putter LIE ANGLE.

Now please cut that stuff off your putter, set them free and get a mallet putter. Scotty or even a cheap Taylor Spider tour. Blade putters are so 1994.

Are such modifications to the putter as in OP ok for competition play?

Cant see any reason why not -

    - has not touched the head or added anything "cheaty" to the head.
    - has not adjusted the lie.
    - as long as it isnt anchored.. you can sort of do what you like.

He really just has made is own superstroke Jumbo grip.

The red one might be dodgy because of the bulge

they are proper awful as they are for now but they served a purpose as prototypes .

i bought a super long normal grip from WINN , normal thickness and its working a treat on a machine putter , that become close if not my top putter, also have the super stroke wrist lokon a cpl andam really likin those , they toally take the wrist flick out.

i tried the claw and thats not gona happen. can not get that feel what so ever.

2 games this weekend and 32/31 putts . only miised one form about 6 feet that i prob shud have made , everything else inside 4ft went in.

very very different look at the ball line at address, its working for me much better than traditional style so im hanign in there. that crap WILL come off and ill get some proper grips. found slightly thinner over that gimongous bauble bulge is a better feel.

was thnking of , making the bottom hand grip part huge and the top part where it rests on th arm thin , inverse to the wrist lok,

    cant see that as illegal?
