A couple more payments trickled through, so I've booked two groups for now. There's not enough to book three groups though.

There was a $43.92 booking fee FFS that was not there last year. Unfortunately, that just takes away from what the forum will donate to the charity.

This became a big issue in triathlon years ago. You'd see the price, go to book, then get bit with some big booking fee on top! I wish they'd just advertise the price including the booking fee, and we wouldn't be any wiser and less annoyed.

They used Humantix, like they did last year, but this time there was a fee. It's not like it can be booked in another way.

While I'm also happy walking, I don't mind there being at least one cart in a group during an ambrose. Can speed up the collecting of balls. Of course, I'm so bloody unfit now days that I'll be very happy for the cart. And, I think so many were asking for them that it just became easier to default to them being included.

I ended up booking 3 spots rather than 4.

I need to submit teams in a couple of days (and email addresses, but I'm not giving those). What were we thinking for teams? Go all out for a low gross score and put the low markers together. Strategise to get the nett? Random group generation?

What are the requirements? Petey playing with his son would be one. Pete and Shaz, will you be playing together?
