I think they show it live on channel 503, but it doesn't show up in the golf category with all the other live events and replays for some reason.

    Maybe try the History Channel?

The last couple of events on Kayo haven't been switching over to golf channel/CBS like they used to, it's just been staying on the ESPN coverage the whole time. Doesn't bother me as they don't have all the peripheral crap on their coverage but wondering what the reason behind it is?

    I noticed that too.
Last event I heard the announcer say something like 'the domestic broadcaster is interviewing xxx, here's what he had to say', which implies that ESPN has some sort of world feed deal happening with either the PGA tour or with individual networks.
The quality of the commentary isn't much better, but we don't seem to get as much external US centric stuff as we normally get.

The same was said a number of times today, maybe Foxtel took a cheaper deal with ESPN.

Yeah I definitely agree there. Certainly didn't miss all the sponsor crap during the players or whenever it stopped switching. Keeps the flow of the coverage better as well if I watch a full day of it, admittedly that's a rare occurrence, especially with footy season.

It isn't just our imaginations. There is a PGA Tour World Feed. Started at the Players.

    https://www.australiangolfdigest.com...get-out-of-it/

It will be interesting whether this will apply at The Masters, which obviously isn't a PGA Tour controlled event. It would be devastating if we didn't get to hear Jim Nantz say his little cliche phrase as the winner makes the final putt (and, to be fair, he actually does a pretty good job in that moment most years).

I've never met him myself but from what I've heard in interviews and things he seems like a good bloke. I love his quirky commentary, might actually watch a bit more PGA tour with this new feed.

Who knows, it makes Jason Day's outfit last year look normal. It looked like he had hi vis on.

The commentators said he was doing Spanish flag colours in honour of his 100th major, apparently. He certainly stood out from the crowd.

I won't be rushing out to buy the same outfit, or a green and gold variant.

What about Fred Couples. What a legend.

Sergio and Cam Smith's clothes pale into insignificance compared to Mickelson's nike clown shoes.
