He captures it well, and he probably exaggerates the main point, in that it is not entertaining enough to not do something else.

Golf isnt 100% drama... it is entertainment with a bit a drama every now and then.

Did anyone here watch more golf than previous years?

I watched 4 minutes of the Womens British Open to check out how bad the weather was, so that's 4 minutes more than the last 10 years combined.

I watch more European tour than anything else, the commentary is far more enjoyable to listen to.
Trevor immelman does my head in the most out of all of them, when CBS covers it.

Another vote for the European Tour. I have watched far more Euro Tour golf, compared to PGA Tour, this year.

    100%

Tell me what he did wrong this time Trevor, tell me how Akshay Bhatia's swing is text book perfect. FFS. He looks like an octopus falling out of a tree and the only thing that isnt moving on the downswing is his bowels.

Gary McCord... bring him back.. he is only 75.

I don't know much about the technical stuff but the way he reacts to shots, even in a positive way, it's just... annoying

Other than majors, nope. Watched the highlights of the weekends Western Open*, but as a whole, my consumption is down maybe 75%

Liv stinks. PGA is meh more weeks than not. I didn't realise the euro tour is still a thing.

The resulting hysterical outbursts from the haters would be worth its weight in gold.

How good was Scotty S's shank on 8.

No maliciousness in it.. but it was caught perfectly on camera and Colin instantly was 10Kg lighter.

I liked his press conference afterwards when he explained what a shank was... it actually made me think he has a sense of humour

Pretty sure he doesn't. God botherers rarely do. Especially American ones.

I know he is really good, he just has no charisma. Like Colin and Xander, they are just really hard to watch and get behind.

There is just this Vacuum in the PGA Tour at the top.

Same. He needs to,show this side more. MBut I do find it interesting so many other golfers give back by free clinics for youth and donating money to grow the sport. But he is just take Weird

Not sure where to post this, but I feel for Jeff Guan after copping a golf ball in the eye at Catalina last weekend. He was the best junior of his year, hope he can make a full recovery

He was in surgery until 1am today. Haven’t heard anything since.
    Forum needs more banter.
