I had another totally honest 36 points, off my equal lowest handicap for at least the last 10 years. I told my playing partners on the 1st tee that I couldn't play to this handicap, and then I did. Fun times. Holing almost everything from under 10 feet is a wonderful thing, and helps your scores immensely.

I'll wait until the comp is finalised, but I'll probably be posting in The Lowest Point thread a bit later on.

Greens are getting quicker in prep for club champs, and they gave us some tricky pins this morning. Didn't really matter.

Following week February medal and 2nd round match qualifier off 10 - boom net 67 win A grade medal , top qualifier for B grade match play

Third round of champs on Saturday was pretty much as crap as the first two with 91/80. Most of the damage done over the first 12, I made 5 pars with a double chucked in coming back.

Yesterday I played a fair bit better with 34 points with only one really stupid hole that I wiped. Hit one in the water on a par 3, then flubbed the chip after the drop. Other than that nothing worse than bogey, but unfortunately didn't convert the 6 or 7 birdie chances.

I wasn't quite on with the irons; I got a bunch of them fat and paid for it (water and bunkers). Everything else was fine.
