Is it still worth it to overhaul swing at almost 50 years old
Dear Fellow OZGolfers,
As I approach my late 40s, I find myself contemplating a significant decision regarding my golf game, and I would greatly value your insights and experiences on the matter.
Currently, my golf swing is self-managed, allowing me to hit relatively straight shots with a consistent high draw. On a good day, I can navigate my home course, typically posting scores between 78 to 85 from the white tee. However, like many of us who are passionate about the game, I often find myself yearning for more – a bit more distance, better control over my draws, and enhanced precision in managing my low point.
While I can make minor adjustments during a round to address specific issues, maintaining overall consistency remains a challenge, particularly with a swing that has evolved into a series of compensations over the years.
Considering my current stage in life – with a bit more financial flexibility and time on my hands now that my son is a teenager – I am contemplating a swing overhaul, possibly through a series of lessons. Although I am committed to putting in the necessary practice, I am also aware of the potential challenges and uncertainties that come with such a significant undertaking.
For those of you who find yourselves in a similar stage of life or have navigated through a swing overhaul before, I would greatly appreciate your input. Do you believe it's worth embarking on another swing overhaul journey at this point in life? Your insights and advice would be invaluable as I weigh this decision.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences. Your input will undoubtedly help guide me in making the best decision for my golf game.
Warm regards,
Andy

He didn't do it that way. (Even when I initially contacted him I have very specific about I need to be measured, and then be profiled)
He did measure me up with Bioswing, but then he kinda manipulate it into his own thing and the only thing I can take away is my AoA is too shallow.
To be honest this is the overall experience in the past I have with Pro and lessons in general, hence I ask the question on this board from the get go.
I probably can argue with him about it but don't really feel the need to. At least I got something to take home so I just satisfied with it.
I can say I am NOT in a hurry to go back thu
