Default Golfing on the Sunshine coast

    Hi All

I'll stay at my in laws place at Kawana for the first week of the QLD June July school holidays. And looking for either a social round or a comp round some were on the Sunny Coast.

I haven't played it personnally but heard good things about Headland Golf Club, which would be the closest to you. Mt Coolum is also a nice track. Both should have comps or social spots for visitors.

Is Headland Maroochy River GC now?

    I’d go there or Bribie.

No, that was Horton Park. Headland is in the side of Buderim Mountain.

I think Dave has played a lot of the courses on the Coast anyway, and was more looking for someone to play with, since the thread is in the 1st Tee area.
No go for me, Dave. We used to go back to the outlaws all of the time, but now that the kids are older it rarely happens. If anything changes, I'll pop back into this thread.

I'd love a trip up to Maroochy River, but not sure I can get there during the school holidays...

Hey Andy thanks for that and you are right I was looking to see if any one is playing and if I could tag along, Plus with the in laws now living on the coast it is a very convenient and cheap place to stay and so a lot more visits to the Sunny coast

24th works if we can get on anywhere. Might be tough.
