MinorT, all the G430’s are excellent in my opinion. The Max is very forgiving with great adjustability. Sounds much better than the G425 and goes slightly further imho. The key is getting the right shaft/head combo. For me, thats a LST head with a high launch low spin shaft.

I have the G430 Max, mate this thing is like a cheat code. Point and shoot. You're swing has to be horrendous to miss badly with it. I feel like this is the first driver I've ever owned where I can swing on my natural plane (I always feel I need to swing on a slightly upright plane otherwise I hook the ball).

Would recommend a demo, for sure.

I've gone through every driver under the sun but could never play the G410 or G425 because the awful sound and excessive spin.

The G430 Max still isn't great sounding (compared to pre-Stealth TMs or a Callaway Rogue LS) but it is finally liveable.

Spin is also much improved. I've hit drives as long or longer than anything else I've tried.

But the consistency makes it a winner.

Front to back dispersion is notably tighter than my previous drivers, even with my all too frequent trips out towards the toe.

Somewhat surprisingly the stock Alta CB suited me better than any other shaft I tried. My long term Hzrdus Black ran it close on trackman, but not on course.

Big fan.
