Fair bit of walking in that 9-holer.

He probably stole the idea from Carbrook’s 9 hole super course.

Different angles to greens can be fun for something differemt, but with long distances between holes make it seem silly.

Nothing new there, played it at others clubs...called it a cross country round, lots of fun.

Meh, I've played that 4th hole after snap-hooking my drive out there anyway. And I've played the 5th after blocking my drive out there also.

6 would be a doozy up that hill, and 3 will be fun tying to stop it on that green all sloping away from you.

9 looks like it would be fun-adjacent. Definitely a go for it in 2 hole...

We used to have an absolute belter of a "cross-country" track at Heywood that we made. Some amazing golf holes in there. We made one at Portland too, but wasn't nearly as good.

I remember playing Coast to Coast holes, one end of the course to the other at Bairnsdale. Not the best course for it because of the trees. But we'd estimate about a Par 7 or 8 and then we'd often take different routes to get there.Beauty of a country track during daylight savings.

This has been in the works for a while, and offers the members and guests something different on an otherwise likely quiet day. The nature of the course layout provides for a lot of different "holes that aren't holes" options, this is a good start. I'll probably be there to give it a go.
