Any idea where they are staying? Stonecutters is OK if you don't mind wending through a housing estate but it's in the golden West. I'm a snob but Eastlakes (close to the city) goes OK as well. Mona Vale, a few beaches north of Long Reef is also in the OK bracket assuming it hasn't been raining.
Your list above would require a bridge crossing for me, apart from St Micks, I wouldn't do it. Nemo will probably see this, he is better at east/south courses than me. If the group is after a bit of a hit, few beers, looking over the beach but not worried about the course, send them to Bondi.
Ewan Porter has been playing a bit of "public" golf in Sydney, sure he would give you an itinerary, he's on Twatter. Scottt who is on here occasionally wrote a great visitors piece for Sydney, PM him.

That was probably Lynwood Country Club.
It has been flooded five times in the past 3 years, but bouncing back nicely. Some bare patches still around plus a couple of fairway bunkers awaiting a sand top-up.
Relatively inexpensive, very flat and easy to get on.
You don't get me. I'm part of the Union.

I have played the Ridge a few times, and quite like it, some really good holes. Its fully public so you could get on any time. Weekends are probably full and slow.
Its a public course owned by local government, built on top of an old rubbish dump. Probably the best public course i have played

Agree with MTB that The Ridge is unreal. Great value and a fun course. It my local for going to play a few twilight holes or taking the kids to the range.
I reckon Bonnie Doon would take a booking from international visitors. Similarly handy straight off the plane as The Lakes but will beat them up less.

Scottt, no chance at the Doon anymore mate I’d give it 0 chance tbh.

Forget Twin Creeks.
Chinese owners got themselves into trouble with the ATO and hasn't been maintaining the course for some time. Played in Dec and all bunkers were basically GUR and there's a LOT of them. Overall condition was average at best and it's clear the staff numbers have been cut right back - sad as it was a good facility and layout.
