If the scratch rating is one under and the slope is 112, how can my daily handicap be 5, when the GA is 6.9? Surely it should have been 6.

    Did you factor in the 0.93? Basically (6.9 - 1)*0.93 = 5.48. Daily of 5.

You were .1 away from getting a daily of 6, I looked up the chart in GA Www.golf.org.au/daily-handicap-chart/

BTW half the ozgolf field cleaned up.
Myself and Marto came 1,2 in the seniors gross and Nett,

    Prizes won were:
Marto, Seniors Nett, Day 2 Overall Net
Me, seniors gross, Div 1 nett, and a six pack in the raffle ( no witnesses for the rumour that I wrote my name om Martos tickets)
Kelsey and Andyp, the ARGB award for staying around to wait for the others to come in, just not long enough to split the 6 pack.

Ah! That old chestnut. I give a guy off 7.0 a 2 shot headstart for the tournament. Nice!

Since it was probably Great Northern or the like, it's not a huge miss for me.
