    Default Nrl 2023

It's back, plenty of storylines already.

    - can the Panfer threepeat
    - is Gus a dud or a guru, managed to recruit all and sundry except a half back and a full back
    - can Kalyn take his cubicle form onto the field, will Adam O'Brien survive
    - big year for the Broncos, especially the Cumquat
    - can Wayne do anything with the Dolphins, will Milf get off the KFC
    - is it a year where the Tigers aren't the story every week
    - should the Dragons use the first round bye to get ready for 2024
    - will the purple filth finally capitulate without Papen and half their forward pack

and a tentative..........Go Manly from me.

Nice rumour about Angus Crichton doing the rounds that he may have had a reaction to something.

Not Likely. And neither are they a chance to return to the glory years of coming 9th.

Panthers have no depth. Their best is still better than anyone, but they don't have the best ressies team any more either.

The Salary Sombreros from Bondi and the Cows are the two bets for me.

Heard last night that Milf scored a 4 year 4 million dollar contract with the Dolphins, that’s crazy money or just desperation.

BTW, some of your best work Mick but you omitted your call for first coach sacked.

    My bet is Griffin.

Api is a big loss for the Panthers. They will be thereabouts again but cap pressure is beginning to show. Depth isn’t a problem for them. I hope you’re right about the cows but it will be interesting to see how the young guys back up last years underdog performance.

For the sake of his long-term health is it time for Kalyn Ponga to be medically retired?

You would have to think the end is near. That knock yesterday didn’t look that bad, yet he is lights out before he hit the ground.

Given his history it seemed a strange decision to move him to 5/8 and have him defending in the line.

I don't know if I have ever seen a better game of rugby league.

That was insanely fast, skilful, and nobody had any reason to whinge about referring.
