Did you see this article on the restrictions the players have at this event ?

    This is beyond a joke.

I've changed the title of the thread, so it can be used for all LPGA discussion this year, instead of new threads every time.

Mike Whan wouldn’t have let this happen.

With 34 tournaments on the schedule (including the Solheim Cup & International Crown), this season promises to be one of the most exciting ever.

Here are my top 40 Player of the Year predictions:

Great minds….however it seems you’re safe and need not worry about Patty T making you look foolish. DFL after round 1 is about how last year went.

Congratulations to Grace Kim on winning her first LPGA tournament in a playoff finishing birdie, birdie then another birdie on the first playoff hole.

She had only made $4,460 in one made cut before this win.

Not a big sample size of events.

Compare the LPGA, PGA and LIV this week. LIV is by far the best TV to watch.

You cannot beat on-course crowds for creating atmosphere and a sense of occasion, and therefore, good TV golf entertainment.

The LPGA event is supposed to be a 'major', but there are no crowds and no sense of occasion. Obviously the LPGA lost their sponsor, and the new sponsor had conditions attached, but the Nabisco/ANA etc was probably the best LPGA major in terms of atmosphere and tradition.

At this early point, I'll bet they wish they were back in Palm Springs.

Congratulations to Hannah Green on winning the LA tournament in a playoff finishing birdie on 18, another birdie on the first playoff hole (18th) then parred the second playoff hole (18th again) to win.
