Maleny yesterday which is a course that is quite different to many. Not a lot of length, but plenty of slopes on the fairways and the greens; especially the greens. If you are spraying it you are going to lose plenty of balls in the long grass. Greens had just been scarified and sanded a bit, so they weren't reliable, but helped to hold approach shots and stop putts rolling off greens.
A few local brewery bevies were in the fridge (Brouhaha), but isn't much of a clubhouse.

Brisbane today. Greens were in great condition. How good is it to be able to trust the line of a putt? Fairways had just been poisoned to kill off some foreign grass, and were brown and crispy. They played fine though and made my long bombs go even further. Holes 11-13 were out of play, and 19-21 were in use, which screwed with my Arccos use.

My mum always said that if you can't say something nice, then say nothing at all.

Nah, it's not all bad there. They just need to fix up the greens somehow, cutting down some trees would help. The site dictates the crazy slopes and I'm sure you'd figure out all the blind tee shots if you played there regularly.
