Bafflingly, the scoreline somehow sits at 5-3 to the Union. The Confederates will be looking to get one back here for the chance to level the scores at 5-5 after next years MASSIVE showdown! But let's not get too far ahead, the sides for this years stoush are as follows:

Basically the way it was drawn up from the start was NSW & QLD v the rest (from birthplace mainly), which worked really well for numbers. It's getting a lot harder to create even teams in installment 9 without a player or two (or three) playing for the "incorrect" side.

OK, so we're at 19 for the Uncivil War at this stage, with having to poach 2 players that should be Union for the Confeds.

IanO, Chappy, LarryLong are no-go, haven't heard back from Andigold but seems unlikely. Have asked the question of Jonti, waiting to hear back there...
