Default Wantima GC, Sun Dec 18, 10:52a

I'm looking for a Sunday round this weekend, so I'll try to book something at Nudgee. I have no idea what tee times are available or the cost, at this stage, but both 3puttpete and I interested. Anyone else that I should try to book in? Any members want to take care of the booking for us, if you are playing? I'd prefer a morning round, but I'm not restricted.

Scrap the above. It's at Wantima now.

I'll call today. Social players are paying $75. Worth it for those bunkers though.

The Green had been cored on the Kurrai course when we played it Monday. Appeared to be a few weeks in but still bumpy. I am guessing they cored them the week after the PGA.

Social fee plus $13 comp fee, so it would be $88 to play at Royal Nudgee. If it was with a member, it would be $50 + $13 for $63. Personally, I think $88 is too much at this stage, but I'd pay $63, if one of the members invites me.

I did call Keperra to see what groups they might available for Sunday, but they only had spots for two people and not three.

How about Meadowbrook at $45 + $12 comp? I haven't played there for ages, but you might be able to report on whether that is worth it, Kelsey.

I don't think I've ever played there but I'd be up for that

$75 for a social hit at Nudgee?! Sheesh
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Over priced IMO. It is a goat track. Play Howeston at half the price and twice the value. No comp though. Plus you don't have to book, just turn up.

Could go country... fair hike, but Boonah and Laidley are both in good condition. Won't have a comp though. Carbrook or Redland Bay?

Wouldn't go near Redland Bay on a Sunday unless it is before 7 or you want a lazy slow round.

Been a long time since I played a Sunday comp there but used to be 35. But that cost now is ridiculous

It's not the same course though, so a price rise had to be expected.

We could get in the Wantima comp at 11a for $39. Sounds good to me. I need the golflink numbers to be able to book though. There were other times like 12 and 12:30 too.

I'm happy to do that one. Haven't played there for a little while. 4011129018
