good luck... had mine for over 25 years.

    a. You can do it with maths and a ruler
    b. That may not work with modern shafts.. counterbalanced etc
    c. You can make one

I have the top one. Long term use with no complaints. Both quality manufacturers. You should be able to land one from Golfworks or Golf Mechanics for less than those listed.

I have just started doing it with Maths and a Ruler, Nunchuk shafts are counterbalanced... So if maths and ruler dont work for these, then neither would a swing weight scale, as thats just an instrument that does the math for us, right?

Thats the way - my only comment is that the bottom one is more robust.. i have treated mine like shit for years and there is nothing to break.
You may look after your kit a bit better though.
