Back to playing again, few up and down rounds over the past 2 months.

Rocked up on Saturday at Tasmania, no pre game practice. +5 in Par Plus (with no ++'s) won A grade. back down to 7.6

Good round this morning. Soft bogey on 16 was a bit frustrating.

    PPbPPbPPP-PPbPPbBbb 65/41pts

I commented as we walked off the 17th green that I didn't think there was a better feeling in golf that standing on the 18th tee at 4 under. Turns out there is - knocking it to 7 feet on the 165m par 3 18th and sinking the putt.

    That's awesome!

Bogey free round still a goal then?

Yes, that's what made the bogey on 16 frustrating. I did have some luck too though, some good bounces on 6 & 7.

After a 30 minute job at midnight ended up with me working until 5 this morning, I decided not to go back to bed and play in my 7am spot...

And whilst I had energy, it was great. 8 putts for birdie on the front 9, two 3 putts from 20+ metres, and 20 points.

Back 9, the work phone went ballistic when a separate system shit the bed, which was discovered an hour later to be unrelated to our work last night... but the damage was done, and 4 points for 4 holes for the back shot me down.

Ended up with 35 points for what will be another flag and bring the GA into the 6.x range again.

Checking in again for a really good 39 points today.

Essentially, I hit 3 bad shots and 2 bad putts, and everything else was good, hence a 5 over par total. Best irons for many months. I actually felt like a real golfer today. Good fun indeed.

Some really good looking holes that require thought and some great greens where you can be creative. Looking forward to lost farm and the run if I can manage it

33 points at Oxley today. Irons were a bit ordinary only hitting 2 greens, driving wasn't too bad, saved a few shots holing some medium-long putts though. 86 off the stick. 6 fairways, 29 putts.

Good enough to win a ball, 2 shots off the winner with a few countbacks
