    Default Best lightweight carry bag?

Just did a quick search, but couldn't find much on this:

I am looking for a lightweight carry bag for quick mid-week rounds now that daylight saving is looming. Still want to have the ability to carry 14 clubs, but happy to go very simple other than that. Any recommendations?

I just won a Cleveland lite 2022 model stand bag and it's light as. 14 way top too. I will sell it cheap if you want it.

If you are carrying 14 clubs lightweight bags wont save you much. You will save more weight by dropping 2 clubs.

There are very few bags at around 2kg. I reckon the TM one with little legs is the go, and its only around 150 bucks. I got a similar Mizunu one, and its good but more than 12 clubs gets annoying

I've got a Mizuno BR-D3, which is 2.1kg, but is still pretty heavy with 14 clubs. I'd suggest going to a shop to try a few, I found some didn't seem to sit right for me, despite great reviews.

I have one of these - Titleist Carry Bag https://www.titleist.com.au/golf-gea...mium-carry-bag

Perfect for when I travel with the family and need to minimise space in the car.

Pros - ultra light weight. Easy to carry, great for 10-12 clubs.
Negatives - wet ground means it gets wet. No good on a pull cart.

Thanks BITS and everyone - I think the advice about having a look at some in the pro shop is probably the best idea at this point. Also worth thinking about MTB’s suggestion as to whether I need the third wedge and 4-iron for mid-week hits anyway.

5yrs down the track all of the above are in the tip or over the shoulder of a needy jnr. While a canvas Jones bag is just run in and looks super cool.
You may even have Bushy's swagger if you shoot low enough.

Jones Players Series is the correct answer.

Still my favourite bag, even though every stick in that photo is long gone.

Yep. Both for its suitability and value. The Original is great but the Players is much better.

I've never understood the appeal of the Jones bags.

Getting 14 in there can be a bit painful

Have followed Goughy's suggestion and gone down the Ping Moonlite path - seems to fit what I was after.
