    Hopefully this works...

A course guide I made for the 2014 VIC Champs...

Some things MAY have changed slightly with reno's (ie. possibly the third hole) but it should give you the jist...

    It's a lovely track.

Sharpen your bunker game! They are very good, but there lots of them and very well positioned. The greens are usually pristine and firmish and keeping the ball on the green is a challenge for the average golfer.

4th could be the hardest index 18 hole going around.

Has anyone played the new 19th, is it any good?

Yeah, pretty sure it was Doak who put it in. Behind 16th green/17th tee I think

That's the one. They were putting it in place in 2014 when we were there for VIC Champs, but I've never actually looked at the hole from the tee.

A fine course. Practice your straight hitting and tight bunker shots from hardpan lies. And hopefully not to many light planes are buzzing overhead to ruin your day.

(don't go left off the 4th tee)

One of the pre secret unofficial rounds maybe, but wasn’t in play (was it really) 2014? It’s a good temporary hole as posted designed by Doak, I don’t think it’s one of his finest. More in the spirit of st Andrew’s beach just an awkward green and bunkers that don’t really match the others. My 2c

Had my weekend at Woodlands, still trying to get over it. Played ok, but that course and I didn't gel. 87 both rounds, 36 putts both rounds.
I only lost 1 ball for 36 holes, had zero triples, 3 doubles and no birdies. My putting was ok, my green reading was atrocious.

I find it's a harder track than people give it credit for. Tends to punish you fairly well for being a smidge off. Not by being harsh with doubles and triples, but if you're in the wrong spots pars are hard to come by and the bogey train stops at all stations.
