    Default Knuckle Neck putter conversion

Anyone know of a way to get a knuckle neck conversion cheaper than the $150ish AUD on eBay?

Lajosi used to make them, not sure if he still does.

I have a couple of them in putters, what are you planning on using it on?

Cheers Benno, I have a Scotty X5 on the way I was thinking of.

Lajosi did a knuckle for me years ago at the same time as beno. It was $180 just for the conversion. I imagine that would be North of $300 now.

I did mine on a square back with a double bend shaft. The biggest issue is that the original shaft doesn't enter the head at 90*, so the hole needs to be welded and re-drilled.

Ah yep, fair enough makes sense and I guess that answers my question haha.

Looked like Cam Young was using one at The Open and it got me thinking.

Scotty Cameron makes his "knuckle necks" to suit the setups of his putters, though I doubt you'd find one of his to suit.

If you want to go crazy, get a model that has a "spud" shaft attachment (shaft slips over it). Get it ground off, then get a vertical hole drilled. Lot of work though.
