    Default Pelican Waters

Just had advice from the new team at Pelican that it is set to reopen in October. They are contacting people over the next few weeks for a tour of the new track - exciting!

However, there is a downside... A members levy of $1,000 to get back in is applicable so that they can finish the cart paths and the annual sub are just on $5,000.

Anyone wishing to join will have to pay a $5,000 nomination fee to get in.

    Hope it's good!

$5k for the Sunshine Coast sounds very high? Are they really just saying they don’t want members?

Good luck to them getting members back. I remember speaking to one member who had made the move to Maleny, and wouldn't be going back.

$800 a year at Maleny, however it would do your head in playing that every week!

$5000 a year is crazy for the Sunny coast. Would want carts, range balls and some bar money included at that amount.
    Its hardly RM or KH.

That’s way overs for the sunny coast, most tracks are at $1200 to $1500 with a similar nomination fee for starters. Maybe hoping that waiting lists will get some people to bite but cannot see any team thinking they will have success. With that plan to secure past and new members

It's owned by a retirement village company. I'm sure the membership fees for the people who live there will be lower. Not really worth it otherwise.
