That’s just pro part of pro sports mate. If it wasn’t true they’d have stayed amateurs. Has always been that way and always will be. It’s a business. People make business decisions. FWIW I do agree that the LIV bots and all the tracker accounts on twitter need to get fired into the sun now though. They’re so tedious. Hopefully Brandel hitches a ride too.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!
I dont agree with Brandel but he aint dumb, he makes a good argument in his reaction to this.
I'm glad the rich white money being better than rich brown money is settled.

As PIF money will eventually filter down to all levels of golf, people will be guilted into abandoning golf altogether, then have to take up watching soccer, motorsport or something.
“Lords of the grill room”
What I find weird is with all the anti trust talk etc, how would it look if they 'merge' with LIV, then disband it, then draw up punishment for players who were on said tour to 'come back' to the PGA, all at the pure discretion of Monahan.
Surely part of the deal will be to somewhat protect the LIV guys even if it's behind closed doors?
And that's if the DoJ allows the deal. Isn't there a motion to remove their 5016C or whatever it is for tax exemption?
It's a massive win for the euro guys for Ryder cup. It may not be in place this time, but surely it opens the door back up for Poulter and Stenson et al to be captain's in the future, which would be good to see.

Cant see how DoJ can prevent the creation of a foreign entity. The tax exemption move is all hot air, most NFP that gets huge income from sport can just as easily write it all off and never pay tax anyway.
So in summary.... we have a break away tour that apparently hasn't worked (or not been as prosperous as first hoped), some players who jumped ship for more money, LIV tour come back with tail between legs and accepted some sort of deal because it probably wasn't going to last the duration anyways, and a PGATour that has sucked back up all the rebel players again into one big happy family with the possibility that that original break away tour may eventually be killed off anyways. lol. Aside from chip-on-his-shoulder-Norman being made irrelevant in the world of golf once again, what have we achieved at the end of the day? Better pay for the players? An expanded player schedule? Better conditions for the players?
Hopefully at least one tourney in Aus
