Chipping practice
Started to do a bit of chipping in the backyard last few weeks. I normally start out hitting them pretty good and in the general landing area. I have noticed the longer I chip it starts to go down hill, ball strike closer to the heel then it gets to the point of a shanks every 4th shot.
Any idea what would cause this?

When I do it it's usually because I'm standing too close to the ball or maybe my arms extend out from my body a bit more than usual.
