Bayview and Mona Vale closed till about the 20th now.
    Oatlands shut.
Cromer is now part of Narrabeen lagoon.

I come back after 8 years and they wont let me play anywhere... I want a game of golf.

A mate with friends at Mona Vale told me they had 6 fairways submerged in the worst of it and the grass has died, terrible outcome when growing season is months away from starting.

All of the courses up here are returfing, we will be going into winter - with half of our courses being drop zones.

I have no idea how this is going to play out, but the courses up hear are dead till October/November.

Was supposed to be playing in the Senior Pro AM at Killara in two weeks, its off already......again. I played at pt73's course on Wednesday, was pretty boggy in a lot of spots and it rained again on Thursday so suspect he won't be playing on Saturday.

Same with Manly, such is life.

Earlier this week a Wakehurst member told me they only have 9 holes open. He was on a working bee this week and said the whole course should be closed as the long term damage could be severe.

He acknowledges that they are very dependent on public traffic so having 9 holes open does make some sense.

We have been getting mini bus loads of Cabra visitors for our open Tuesday comp in recent weeks as it's the only place they can get on and play 18 in great conditions.

Pretty much everything else in the southern highlands is closed from Mittagong to Mt Broughton.

Quite a few Monash members are getting onto Magenta on Sundays.

I actually went up to Noosa about a month ago to escape the rain and ran into another Monash member in the car park of Noosa Springs doing the same thing.

Its a bit silly to go to SEQ swamps to escape the rain. Well here the courses are open but they are all very wet even on dry days.

28 degrees, blue sky and dry course would suggest otherwise

Hole 17 is tee up due to high water table, but the rest of the course is mint. Definitely worth the trip 👍

Getting closer Pete. I believe they are finalising a report in relation to indigenous cultural heritage of the site, which required many exploratory digs around the property. The club is not anticipating any issues and works should start early next year some time..
