    Some of the pictures doing the rounds are pretty savage. I’m hearing rainfall numbers in the high 300mm to low 400mm.

    Just for once we dodged a bullet at only 230mm and will be open tomorrow.
    Forum needs more banter.

    It was renamed Brighton Lakes after the re-design ........

    Spare a thought for the ground crew who have worked their butts off to get courses that were flooded back to playing condition only to have this happen.

    Thats true, but they get paid to work their butts off whether flooded or not.

    Actually spoke to a member this morning, they’ve only had 18 holes back in play from the last floods for a few weeks…..

    My course closed until Friday following another 30ml on top of the 250ml in the 7 days up to last Friday.
