Reddie Bay is open but it is still Tee Up and No Carts, and probably will be till at least next week. More rain is forecast though.

Need more days like today... Oxley is closed this week, possibly reopening on Saturday for walking only. Depends what happens over the rest of today and tomorrow, it's meant to clear up Friday and across the weekend into next week. As per usual it'll probably piss down again after that 🙄

The Club sent out some photos of current conditions this morning. There are of the 11th, which would not be the worst of them.

Maybe Dave uses his car now instead of the troublesome MGI.

A neighbour of mine is a member at Wakehurst, their president told him they will leave the course open no matter how wet it is and the members can decide whether they want to play or not.

When my neighbour (who's a volunteer in a weekly working bee on the course) asked why, the president said "the condition can't get any worse than it is now".

Keperra has been closed for over 3 weeks now.
If the sun stays out it may re open Monday.
At least it's given my tendonitis a chance to recover...

No carts walking only tomorrow at Reddie Bay. I shall find out how wet it is in the morning.

Golf courses are a far better place without carts anyway.
    Forum needs more banter.

That’s what I like about Barnbougle, you need a medical certificate to have a cart and they charge $120 for using one.

No carts is awesome, but not for club $$ I guess. Course is still really wet.

Just finished 18 at Wolston park. Very very mushy. They have allowed carts but very strict rules in place. I walked with push cart and even that was leaving marks

I'm sure the social groups will comply with the cart rules. They've always been very good in the past with following cart signs.

Was just told by my farther in law who played a bit later. When he was leaving saw a car pulled over watching 4 people try push a buggy out of the rough on the left side of the 7th 🤦*♂️

Pretty much the same at Oxley today too. It was good to get out again but struggled with my ball striking in the rough.

Another 10 to 15mm last night across SEQ isn't going to help courses recover.
