Putting and aim - best video I've ever seen
I've always struggled with my putting. When I use the line on the ball, which does help my aim, I've always felt I'm aimed left. And never trust it.
This video is an eye opener. Today was the best I've felt over the putter in a long long long time.
My eyes are way inside the line now, but finally I feel like the aim point and line match up and my stroke felt a lot better and more free flowing.

Nice one mate, I have never bought into the eyes over the ball thing.
Some great stuff to remember in this video. I know personally I have putted best when my eyes are quite a bit behind the ball.

I don't do golf by Youtube, but that was interesting and worth giving a try, because it is just a setup thing.

Thanks for sharing Flusha.
Probably the best instructional video on anything golf related I’ve watched in sometime.
Me being someone with vision and depth perception issues it totally makes sense now.
Ill be shooting under 100 in no time!

I'm doing a putter fitting Thursday so I'll discuss with them about it as well.
I had so many close calls making putts yesterday. Never missed so close. I hit a heap of greens so putting stats didn't look good, but I've never felt more confident in the line.

I havent watched this yet, but I will. I am convinced that putting is impacted by parallex error. I am totall retarded at putting, a square clubface looks open to me.
I am actually having some recent success with taking arc putting to the extreme, by opening the clubface even 45 degrees on the backstroke, and allowing my body to square it up, it results im hitting straighter putts than trying straight back and through. So possibly a left/right brain thing. The left knows how to putt and the eyes are playing tricks on the right resulting in manipulations and yips.

I like how he explained it.
But for the purpose of keep things simple, wouldn't aimpoint be a better solution?

Isn't aimpoint for reading the green, whereas this video is about making sure you are actually aligned with the line that you have chosen? The above video is free too....

Not 100% sure to be honest. Doesn't help by the fact that English is my 2nd lango.
(At least from my own understanding) From his video, he talks about fitting and aligned your eye accordingly, and all the way to the target. (As in there is a imagined line all the way from the ball, to the intermedia target "tee" and then extended all the way to the hole)
Aimpoint just feel the slope, figured out how many fingers, line up the ball accordingly and just make the putt, without needing to see or imagine a line all the way to target.
Aimpoint explained on youtube for free too:

The bold is the bit that he is addressing. You can work out the read with Aimpoint, but if you don't line up correctly (even though your eyes think they are), then you won't putt it where you intend to.

Fair enough, I think that's a better way to explain it too

I'll update this as well
I was fitted for a putter, and the fitter helped me massively in getting my eyes just inside the line, and finding a position that makes it look like I'm lined up correctly.
Look vs feel is just massive. See how we go!
