Gezz OZG has a lot of tough crowds that's hard to please
david you mentioned you want to practice more before you go. IMO your intention is wrong from the get go.
(To me anyway) Bonville is the kind of golf course that you smell the rose and look at the scenery while you hitting the little white dot. The golf itself really is not that important.
I called and picked the least busiest time slot and just play by myself. I was on the golf course for about 5.5 hours, no one in front of me, nor behind. I was just taking a lots of photos with my phone at the time because it was so beautiful.
It's true that the "tidy-ness" of all 18 tee boxes/greens is not always top tip. You got a few that's damn good, a few that's so so and a couple just trash! But the overall scenery is amazing.
Oh, try their cart.... it's literally got a recliner type of seat on it!
I shot 84 for that morning, par the #9 par 3 which is 200 meters long, and taken about 400+ photos, had a great time and plenty of photos to show and glory stories to tell my missus when I join her back into the motel.
(then we travel to hunter valley to get f$%^* drunk
