    Default MGI G800 Navigator

Hi guys need some help. I just bought an MGI G800 Navigator and can't work out how to put courses onto the unit.
Does anyone know or have a guide? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I gather the GPS is a Sureshot device.

This is link to the manual.

You sync the remote with sure shot via a pc then sync the remote to the trolley

Thanks Daves and Steve. It is a sureshot and I have the manual, however it only leads me to the MGI site. I have found something on the sureshot site it asks for me to download sureanalysis. I'm at work atm so will give it a go when I get home.
Thanks for all the replies, much appreciated

Steve might correct me, but I think you will need a Sureshot Subscription to download new courses.

Do I need to register the unit with sureshot? and if so where do you find the serial number?
I have registered the buggy with MGI, and then tried that same serial with sureshot... No dice unfortunately.
As it is an older unit google tells me nothing.
I do however live just down the road from MGI and intend on contacting them to see what they say.

    My advice would be
!) Don't oversteer - if its a fraction offline from where you want it, let it run and only turn once to get it to where you need. I watch too many guys go left, right, left, right over and over to get it straight.

    2) If you put the remote in your pocket, lock it.

    3) the G800 allows you to lock it on a line with the GPS when its going so that the hills don't determine where it goes. This is a handy feature.

    4) Charge the remote when required, not after every round. You get a surprising number of rounds out of one and the batteries are very exxy to replace in the remotes. You can tell when it needs a charge when it stops responding as quickly. I don't find the remaining battery life gauge on the unit too accurate.

    5) Keep it in front of you, that way you have less of a chance of running a playing partner, or yourself over.

They are a great unit - best money you can spend on your golf game.

Great buggies....one tip though....when you go to charge your remote be careful plugging in the USB, the female connection to the remote is very fragile and the remotes are around $250 to replace....

I am at this stage, how did you fix it?
Why exactly do I need to answer to you?
