Is it just me or is one of the commentators deep breathing into his mic??

Listening to PGA radio, for me prefer it as it is generally more informative.
Once again in a major the first round leading score wins it over 4 rounds.
Happens very often.

Back in the 1960s there there was an African golfer named Vincent Tshabalala who played cross-handed.

Just in case people haven't noticed, an actual Golf Major starts tonight. According to my Kayo guide, featured groups starts at 9.30, and full coverage from 0100.
It is tempting to take a WWE point of view and cheer for the good guys and boo the villains, but I'll just do my usual thing, and put out some wasteful bets in the vague hope that one of them gets up.
Adam Scott at 6.50 for top 20 caught my eye, and I've placed small wagers on Zander and Hideki for the win. But my betting record at the US Open is terrible. I never seem to get any sort of result in this one.

Have not watched much golf for a while. Finding it boring on Kayo at the moment, can you only watch the feature group? I thought it used to swap between a lot more players rather the just follow 3 of them?
Eg feature group hit a shot, switch to someone else while they walk to balls etc?
Go Fitz, USGA moving the needle.
Fair shot on 18 and a Zalatoris's putt was bees d!ck from going in too.
Watched a bit of it over the weekend and actually thought the coverage was pretty decent, generally had the sound down so didn't listen to the commentating, but it seem to show a lot of shots.
I reckon the tracer has made watching golf much better too.
First time I remember the top of a US Open leaderboard being all red, both total and Sundays round, and nobody that was in contention gassed it down the stretch. Normally you see the contenders falling like 9 pins, but really was only Jon Rahm that fell away.
With you on the pro tracer - watching the line and trajectory of a tee shot for the first two or three seconds before its about to land has given me a greater appreciation of the quality or otherwise of shots. I really like it on approaches as well.
I think a tracer on 11 this week would have been outstanding - seeing the different flights and landing points.

Erin Hills in 2017 had 7 players finish -10 or better. Thankfully they aren't going back there anytime soon. The USGA seem to have the setup and course selection about right these days (apart from the fairway bunkers in the rough).
