I dont think its the temps as such - you guys get far hotter days than us and run bent. Likely more to be a Humidity issue. The other upside is never having to play on reno'd greens.

Of course, prestige is also likely a contributing factor.

I was watching the coverage with the sound muted, so I didn't realise that I was missing the pleasure of listening to Ferrins's favourite commentator, Alison Whittaker, on the telecast. But there she is, interviewing John Huh.

I think I'll continue to watch with sound down and Itunes library turned up. Appropriately, a Talking Heads song is playing as I type.

For the Talking Heads fans, Apple Music recently released the entire catalogue in Spatial Audio (Dolby Atmos) and it’s pretty awesome!!!

In possibly the weakest field in PGA history, the highlight is Harrison Endicott tied for the lead.

Its a full status event with full Fedex points, and a field that old Ozgolfer Boonie or the Flog from Hobart may have been competitive in their hayday.

    Anyone here know him?

As I started this off-topic chat, I should reveal that the original tune was Thank You For Sending Me An Angel, for which I couldn't think of a funny response (and still can't).

At least we can now talk about the Seamus Power Of Love. And Huey Lewis plays golf (I'm not sure about Frankie Goes To Hollywood or Jennifer Rush).

Frankly, its better than talking about the actual golf. It's tempting to think it would actually be better not to play at all rather than serve up such a weak field. At least the top-ranked player in the field won it.

    https://www.australiangolfdigest.com...da-per-report/

    And so it begins.

With the PGA Tour creating a two tier system of events, the minor events, like the Honda, will struggle. I don't think this will be the last one to lose a sponsor.

In this case I'm not surprised at all. As the article states, the first event of the Florida swing is a bad slot to have even in a proper schedule. Its a bad course anyway.

In a way I'd prefer them to have a week off at that time as preparation for the Players.

In any case it is an obvious week for an LIV event in opposition, so I'd let them have that week and put all my attention on the rest of the Florida events.

They are going to have to rename the PNC to the Limping around Championship.
Everyone is limping from Duval to Woods to Daly to Trevino to everyone else.

    Rather abstract i thought...

And lastly... How is a Charlie, being a 13 year old flying it 267 yards ????
