This was a quality walk-off - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWx0yIwyjyw
He's a gun and doesn't seem affected by the pressure, not bad for a 20yo.
How long does he have to win a major or Olympic medal before he has to take a year or two off?
The Americans will do well to not crow too loud or beat their chests. If that’s all they can do to a predominantly B team of Internationals.
The Euro’s are going to destroy them.
Only if the Euro's find a lot of new players who have qualities the current ones don't have. Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton have been good players for a while but haven't got the job done, and the likes of the Hoygaard's and Bob McIntyre look a bit off the pace. Besides, more Euro's may jump ship to LIV in due course, particularly once Greg gets ruthless and casts aside the deadwood like Poulter and Westy. The European Tour doesn't have much depth.
This P Cup was a good example of how players can lift and ride the momentum for short periods. Tom Kim and Cam Davis looked like superstars, when in reality they probably aren't.
Still, the whole thing turned out better than expected. Big crowds helped, too.

For those not watching it live, check out the replay of the Dunhill Links events in the morning.
The weather is absolutely filthy. 1st round leader Langasque was 7 over for the day last time I saw his name.
I wonder if LIV would even play in this sort of weather.

I watched it live, bloody horrible conditions.
Cracking leaderboard after 3 rounds of the Sanderson Farms (PGA Tour)!
I reckon I know a couple of the top 10.

Its actually a stronger field than is usual for this event. But this is the way its going to be with the revamped schedule of big events and lesser events.
Next week in Las Vegas might be worse, with most of the good players going to Japan the following week, and LIV playing in opposition. And its the 'wrap around' part of the season, which is difficult to get excited about anyway.
At least the Euro Tour should be worth watching the next few weeks leading up to their Race to Dubai final.

We have a cross hander Ozgolf member. Mint, if remember correctly. And Welch isn't the first cross hander to play on the PGA Tour, there have been a few;

I haven't watched a single shot of the event live, but noticed Cantlay leading Tom Kim, with Sunjae, Si Woo, and Mito Periera in the top 10 seems like a decent leaderboard based on the recent Presidents Cup.
The Bez, Homa and Davis are all a few more back. Surprisingly good field.

Tom Kim wins again, the first player to win twice before turning 21 since Tiger in 1996.
The kid has really got some game (not a single bogey all tournament) and has had Rickie's longtime caddy on the bag since the Presidents Cup.
Can't wait to see him at Augusta.

PT, he was on the Colt Knost's Golf SubPar pod a week after the Presidents Cup, not too many insights (he's very young, so not unexpected) but seems like a good fella.
Zozo. Can someone explain the twin green thing? Winter and summer greens with different grass blends?

Surely Japanese climate isn't that different to various parts of Australia - if you are talking a climate that goes from sub zero to high 30s across a year, thats everywhere from Mittagong through the ACT, the southern highlands and parts of Victoria. And do we have a single course with dual greens, or perhaps its just a money/prestige/cultural thing.
