    Rules below:
    • For those unfamiliar, an eclectic score is your best gross score on each hole of your course over a given period of time.
    • This Eclectic runs from 1 January to 31 December.
    • Scores from any official club competition round (stroke, par, stableford) played during the dates above are permitted (no social rounds).
    • To enter, you need to record the following:
    - Course
    - Length/ Index/ Pars of each hole
    - Your gross scores for those holes
    • As you play rounds during the year and improve on those gross scores, you need to post your improvements.

I won't be changing my sheet back to the two 18 hole comp rounds that I've played this year. Comps are a scam!

10 Rounds in and a couple more birdies.

One thing that I found surprising is the 12th I am 2 under for the year.

Just took a screenshot of spreadsheet then attached it. Actual image seems large enough but thumbnail on post is small.

Is there a better way to do it?

This is how I do it via a web browser.

Double click on the thumbnail sized image, then choose the size.

I don't have that option in reply at all, none of those top buttons are there? Have to Go Advanced then Manage attachment.

I had three birdies yesterday, two on holes where I already one, and one on the first which has a forward temp tee. It is the first time that I haven't bogeyed the 17th, but unfortunately it was a double, so no change to my eclectic this week.

I finally cracked the 11th today. The only updates from here on in will be if I happen to make any eagles, which is more likely to come in the winter months when we get a bit more run.

While it wasn't a good round yesterday, I did pick up a couple of new birdies for the year on the 3rd and 9th. Unlucky not to pick up at least a couple more too, but they wouldn't have been new ones anyway.

My eclectic is now bogey free with a par on 17. Hoozah! The birdie putt almost dropped too.

I already have the birdie on 3, but I've now birdied it three times in a row, which is very surprising, as it has never been an easy hole of mine. It's probably because I keep hitting the 3 iron straight off the tee.

Three birdies yesterday, and the first of the year on 14, where I put a 7 iron to within a couple of metres. On the downside, I had my worst on 17 from the middle of the fairway.

If I keep hitting irons the way I am at the moment, I should see some birdie chances on 1 and 16. 4 and 17 will need some luck.

Tick for 16 amongst the four birdies on Saturday. I had an eagle putt on 7 too. Do I dare to dream of having one of those in my eclectic?

It's been a while since my last update. Plenty of rounds played, plenty of birdies, but no impact on the eclectic.

Have been on -17 forever, cant buy the 17th no matter how close I hit it.

Pennant team mate is on -20 so its game over for me this year

No extra birdies for me yet, so I'm still three short of the full set. I did manage to increase my worst ball for two holes within the same round, so that was impressive this late in the season.

I have one hole that I am even par on for the year, and two holes where I haven't had a double bogey yet. Now that I've put it in writing, I'll screw those holes up now for sure.

Piss poor worst ball. I can knock that off in a monthly medal, doesn’t take a whole year.

No improvements from August for me. Not having a birdie on the first is pretty ordinary, but I'm sure if the same hole was later in a round, I would have got one; I'm just a poor starter. I didn't birdie the 4th because I had to adjust my strategy to avoid disasters on the hole, which worked because it was only pars and bogeys for the second half of the year, but I couldn't get a birdie putt to sink on the shitty green. I have no expectations of getting a birdie on 17, as a par feels like a birdie.

It was nice to play a hole in even par for the year (13th), and I almost got the 2nd back to even par too.

I didnt use the spreadsheet, but Miclub stats show a rudimentary eclectic. Just completed all the boxes by December, 18 birdies, took about 6 months to get the last one
