    Default SEQ Christmas/New Year

    G’day all,

I just started thinking about how often and where I’m gonna play over the break from Boxing Day to Sunday 9 January.

I reckon I’ll get to Maleny at least once and maybe Maroochy River or Bribie.

Is anyone keen for a hit somewhere?

I’m a little worried because I read there are thousands of them flooding over the border but if you’ll protect me I’m game.

I got 2 weeks off from today.

Helensvale running a single comp every day next week, meaning that scores from every day are counted for a single event. I will play Friday lunchtime

Speaking of this…… I can’t announce officially that I’m going to Qld and certainly not that I’m taking my clubs. Borders will close again if I do that. But hypothetically I could possibly be on the Sunshine Coast between Xmas and NY and then in Brissie between NY and the weekend of 8/9 Jan.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

As long as none of your playing partners has his bucks party the same weekend, you should be fine.

Is it a normal round? My social club always plays Ambrose there, be nice to play it properly for once.

It’s the back marker. As tough as they can make it.

I am on the Sunny Coast over Christmas, but only Christmas Eve through to Boxing Day, since we don't have a bed at the outlaws at the moment. Maybe I could do a Boxing Day round, but it might be difficult to manage.

I'd be keen on a Helensvale round if it happens, as I haven't played there. I'll post in this thread, if I plan any other course explores, as my return to work is Jan 6.
