But as a member of I've of these smaller country courses, would this be the case? Our would it just be the comp fees on an open day? I mean, it would only take 5 comp games in a year and is be ahead of an sga type membership.
Unless you have full reciprocals you’ll still need to pay a green fee plus the comp fee although the green fee is usually cheaper for a comp round than social.

I know City GC said they would, which would be about $50 a game. Which, isn't really that big a deal since I was only playing <10 games a year when a full member.

Quite often it is around half green fee. I think Ipswich states that it is the 9 hole green fee. Some courses charge comp fee only.

Just get the Gailes one, but don't play at Gailes. The first five numbers are the same as regular Gailes members, but they have different sixth numbers for the cheapo members. I would be very surprised if other clubs knew the difference. The other advantage is that you don't have to worry about membership years. It starts and finishes on the date of joining.

Yeah, you can probably just ignore me! I rang both city and middle ridge and the comp fees for someone from say Oakey gc is $38 and $36, and while I didn't ask City, MR said it's still the $36 for something like the sga or Gailes membership thing.. Just gotta stop dancing around and bloody do it!

I'm going to play the SGA / Tour Fore Golfers event at Gailes on August 13, if anyone else is planning on playing it?
