Default Say it Loud & Say it Proud!

What are you unabashedly proud of?

My son's end of year high school results came in yesterday.

Very proud to say he achieved a score of 99.9 and has been dubbed Dux of his College.

He has also been nominated by his school to receive a Governor's Commendation for receiving Merits in three subjects; one of which, Electronics he did 'for a laugh'.

While I'm on a roll, his end of year project for Electronics was interesting.

Most kids apparenlty build hifi speakers for their end of year electronics project. My son did the same but miniature ones he fitted into the dual screen hand held games console he designed and built from scratch. He also created the game cartridge that fits into the console, onto which he downloaded the game he created and coded along with the music he composed to go with the game.

Thought of this thread on Friday when I had a complex Broken Die knife to replace in a Die Forme.

Felt quite pleased with myself when I was able to remake a new one with multiple bends and get the exact fit first time.
Broken ones that have a section missing are difficult at the best of times but when the missing section has some of the bends, that gets harder and usually takes a couple of goes to get one right.

I am proud that today 2 years ago I made the call that married Grunt was not happy and it was time to be single Grunt again. Covid has hindered the plans a little but I am in a better place.
