I also raised the bat at Kooralbyn, no birdies but 6 lost balls. Front 9 wasn't too bad but everything turned to shit on the back, mainly off the tee but 21 putts didn't help much.

First game in 6 weeks, because life just gets in the way some times.

Was a little daunted about playing off 8 after so golf, but hit the ball tee to green pretty well all things considered.

Had the best day off the tee that I can remember for a long time, irons went generally where I went them too.

Was poor with the wedges and the putter was pretty cold, burning the edge at least 6 times.

    Default WDYSTM - December 2021

31/12/2021, Wolston Park GC, Blue Tees, Stableford.

    Score: PPPBBPPPB PPPPPPBBB; 39:35:74 (+4:+3:+7); stab 16:18:34pts.
    Played to 9.5. Golflink: 8.4 (+0.1). SCH: 8.7 (+0.4).

Back to my home course, because the other one was being mean to me. I even played in the comp to try to wash the bad taste of yesterday's round out. Despite hitting it average and short for all full swings with only 3 GIR, I managed to somehow scramble together a score. No disaster holes, but no birds either. It wasn't overly satisfying though, as it seems the good play from not long ago was yet another false dawn.

Next round: The usual Sunday morning round at home.
