Thread: Shaft Puller

  1. #1

    Default Shaft Puller

    Hi all,

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a shaft puller?
I used to visit a guy who pulled tips off my graphite shafts but he has since left.
Now the only local place that wants to touch a graphite shaft is asking for $100 to pull a tip and install a new one....may as well buy a puller myself!

$100? are you sure you mentioned 'golf' in the conversation?

Talk to Chappy. He can make you one and you have it for life and even pass it down to your children. It's that good

Guess I'll have to just buy whatever I find on the internet. Not many options in Aus.

This is what I'll probably get:
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/-/115112283581?mkevt=1&mkcid=16&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&media=GMAIL&sojTags=media%3Dmedia

Something cheaper, this one looks good:

Otherwise, I stumbled upon this Macgyver idea:

I still have my Roberts from the late 2000's, and it's still going strong except a couple of sets of ****ing Pings have bent the tines back to about a 70° angle.

    **** Pings.
