Apologies, I'm a definite non starter.

When Tiger won the masters in 2002, the chairman presented the jacket, because as the previous winner Tiger could hardly present it to himself. I bring this up because I'm wondering who'll present the mug to me on Sunday after I go back to back?

As my wife donated the mug in the first place, (I'm pretty sure I never paid her back for it ) I'll present it on her behalf

As a 2x winner myself I can’t remember who presented it the second time.

Yeah I knew you'd got 2 in a row, but i felt the tiger comparison made for better trash talk

This is what the line up looks like for Sunday.
Anyone apart from Nadg not joining for lunch at the Gumeracha Hotel after?

I'm planning on staying for lunch, as long as I've recovered from my current cold.

Yeah, fair enough. We've had to change a bunch of plans too.

Default 2021 Xmas Mug Sun 19th December 8:30am

Thanks for the game today everyone.
Having a good time with friends is something I’ve really needed.

The Xmas Mug went down to the wire. Nadg jumped out as clear leader at the turn after 3 birdies on the front 9 taking outright Skins. Hatchman and BYU slowly clawed back the lead.
BYU and Hatch halved the 18th with pars after both hit the green in reg. The halved skin was enough for BYU to tie Nadg for the lead. The title was was decided with a closest to the Pin chip off from 10m with BYU coming out the victor.
    Congratulations BYU defending his tile.

The Beef Short Ribs at Gumeracha Hotel were fantastic.

Thanks everyone. I was silly enough to order something else, but I think the beef ribs were the clear winner of the day.

Another great morning with good company at the annual Xmas Mug round at KVGC. I peaked too early, although admittedly it was more arse than class - consecutive birdies with a chip in 2 followed by a distance putt for another 2 on the next hole. Decided to hit my two worst tee shots of the round on the final two holes, but such is life! Well done BYU, on for the 3-peat next year!?

Looks like a great day had by all. Really jealous I missed out. Well done BYU. Sad to hear my fellow TPGC member couldn't bring home the mug however

Thanks for the hit guys, scorecard below. I know it shows Marcel / Flavzz / DMG, I just could not be bothered removing the names and then having to import it all back in again for next year

Also apologies Nadg for not getting it up and down on the last, I really should have done that for you mate (considering where I was on the green). Im still a bit rusty from lack of regular play:

Forgot to mention thanks TC for running the score sheet again.
KVGC is such a great course for playing this format.
It’s still the S.A OzGolf game I look forward to the most.

Good to hear you got out there and enjoyed your hit Hatch. Based on the enjoyment level of this style of event it could warrant maybe one addition style event throughout the year.. possibly May/June before it gets too wet. Even something at the Semaphore par 3 or the like would be great for pure fun factor.

Essentially that's why I wanted to try the BBB format as we can play it on a full size course with no handicaps
