2021 Pat Malone Dicennial Matchplay

This will be a 32 draw knockout 18 hole matchplay contest, that I will conduct on my solo outings at Links Hope Island Golf Club.

The competition will consist of 32 different types of golf balls, so I suggest you nominate early.

Just nominate your ball and you're in. I shouldn't have any trouble sourcing the balls unless you nominate a Titleist Balata(got one of these anyway).

The winner will receive one dozen current model Pro V1x or ball of there choice if I can source it. Can be different to the ball nominated. Will PM you at conclusion and you can tell me what you want.
Last winner in 2011 had left the forum and quit golf. Still took the balls though!

A draw will be posted on this thread once the 32 spots are filled and results will be listed with match report. I will also do my best to describe the performance characteristics of the different pills.

The nominated ball must make it through the 5 rounds to win and a lost is DQed. There is a shite load of water hazards here and ball eating shubbery which can undo a potential champs run. Andy was taken out by a rogue mower last event.😀
*Due to the amount of water this year I am going to run two balls per player .
