Yep. 4-5mph faster clubhead speed. Also added a lighter shaft. It’s a cannon.

I went from 235m carry to 260m three in a row with the Stealth, with everything much straighter.

First time I have spent 45 minutes on a simulator. Felt worth my time

Listened to a podcast (GOLFs Fully Equipped) during the week, involving the TM Stealth development & design team.

They openly admitted that they're done with Titanium faces.

    Carbon is their way forward.

I walked into my Pro Shop looking to pick up a Sim 2 Max, after hearing some great results in a recent review.
Ended up walking out with a Stealth Plus Driver for $769.
Feel and sound is fantastic. Only used on the driving range thus far, but I seem to have gained some distance vs G425 Max.

They wouldn’t have a vested interest in saying that would they?

I am waiting to get back on course, it is still Tee up conditions. The Pro Shop has offered me use of a demo Stealth for a round. Will look to throw a SIM 2 and/or a SIM 1 in the bag for comparison purposes.

I would be asking for a good explanation from the data why there is such a big difference that appears to defy physics.

I am not saying you cant hit it 260m carry, cos I dont know. but that difference in distance would be equal to a ball speed increase of about 20 mph and that cant just come from a club head (unless comparing to 20th century gear)

Only on drivers. How confident would you be hitting carbon fibre faced fairway woods or hybrids off a hard pan lie?

I would say the right Shaft - Motore X F1 6S - was the major improvement. It gave me about 15m over the first two shafts I tried.

What does that shaft feel like spud? Is it heavy at address and how does it go mid swing?

I’m looking at either the F1 or the Ventus Velocore

Pretty sure that's a stock shaft for Cobra Speedzone. Should be "easy-ish" to find if you want to try it in your current head.

Depends on how far out the initial driver is in regards to launch conditions? High ball speed and crappy initial launch conditions would explain it. Mucked around with the Flightscope launch optimizer and get below with 3mph extra ball speed.

exactly my point, so after seeing that hypothetical data, I would be asking why a different shaft changed the launch angle +6 degrees.
I dont think thats possible, thats got to be significant setup change.

I gained 27m of carry in a fitting late last year. The fact that my old driver was only spinning 1100rpm would have been a key factor.

His deal must have changed. He’s not worn a Titleist hat for a while but has one on this week.
